Business Resource Seminar
Do you know where to go for your business assistance needs? With the vast array of local and state level services and programs available, how do you know which is best for your business and which will address your specific needs?
The William & Mary Technology & Business Center, in conjunction with sponsors James City County, York County, and The City of Williamsburg, is now offering a seminar that aims to help local businesses understand each of the many services and resources available to them.
The objectives of the seminar are to
- Identify Virginia and local available support services, public and private.
- Introduce representatives of the various services.
- Provide a "roadmap" of whom to go to, when, and for what.
- Enhance relations between economic development organizations and their clientele.
- Promote a better integration of support services.
- Determine typical client and company business support needs.
The seminar will be held at the Williamsburg Community Center on February 28, 2005 from 8:00am � 3:00pm � continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. If you would like to attend this seminar, please contact the Technology & Business Center at (757) 221-7815.
Selling to Virginia: Opportunities for Success
The Virginia Small Business Development Center Network and the Department of Business Assistance are co-sponsoring a fifth procurement workshop in a series of workshops held around the state.
�Selling to Virginia: Opportunities for Success� are half-day seminars designed to educate the small, woman, and minority-owned businesses about how to develop strategies for selling to state and local government.
The upcoming workshop will be held on February 1, 2005, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Peninsula Workforce Development Center, located in Hampton, Virginia.
